Cocker spaniel training help?
I am having trouble with training my puppy. He is a cocker spaniel and lab mix. He has problems with peeing on himself every time he gets excited. I am CONSTANTLY having to give this dog a bath. He s about five and a half months old, but I need some help with his training. PLEASE HELP

Very wilful cocker spaniel, training help?
here's a little background. i have owned and trained huskies german shepherds poodles standard and miniature along with a couple of pure mutts but i am having a huge amount of trouble with my cocker.he knows his commands and is very smart but he only listens when he wants to. i have taken him to his first three years of dog school. he does very well there. with training in tdoesn'tse he is great. he doesnt mess in the house and he submits very easily to me.my trouble is that when he is out of the yard, say at the beach on my camp. i will call him back to me. he will turn around look at me, then look far ahead at whatever he wants and go to it instead. heconvenientstens when it is convient for him.he is 3.5 right now but none of my dogs have given me this much trouble for so long. in fact i had bought a standard poodle six months after buying him and she knowsand listens to all of her commands before him being six months younger. i understand that cockers are very smart but also very wilful.i need a new training method, something to test him in the field if you say lol. when i ask him something i only asdoesn'tonce if he doesnt do it i will correct him. like if i ask hdoesn'tsit and he doesnt i will put him into the sit position. is this wrong? please help.if you need further details just message me.
