Are labradors known to attack?

How many hours of walking do labradors need a day?
Thanks

Are labradors easily introduced to cats?
Im considering getting a labrador puppy but already have 2 cats. Will the dog accept the cats with the right training? Or will the cats cause the trouble?Thank you

Are labradors usually tough chewers?
I'm about to bring a little female chocolate lab puppy home in a few weeks. She will be 7 weeks old when she comes home, and I need to start looking at what toys to get for her. I'm wondering if labs are typically strong chewers, and what kind of toys I should buy for her to chew on.I know Kongs are strong.Does anybody know if the toys by West Paw Design are any good, such as the " zogo flex" toys? What about the Orbee toys??Thank you

A Few Labrador Questions!?
1 what colours YOUR favourite? black? yellow? brown?2 male or female? which is easier to train? which is more affectionate? which will be obedient on walks even if they catch a scent and want to follow 3 could a male and a female lab live together? both being 'done' so theres no pups 4 if so, how many years months should be between them? i heard NOT to get them from the same litter 5 if i got a male and a female, would they be easy to train, walk, play with, etc together?PLEASE ANSWER ALL 5 QU'S thanks oh and 6 are there any major health conditions the majority of labradors get?

Labrador gets aggressive when needing to be physicaly handled?
Ill be watching my friends labradors for about 2 to 3 weeks. One is a 1 year old female unspayed choc lab has had puppies . The other an intact male 10 month old black lab. Both dogs are extreamly frustrated with not getting any off leash in yard play time. go out all day in a small yard, come back inside The female ive watched before and after 1 2 hours of activity and letting her run with the other dogs while im on horse back is a pretty nice dog. She does have her temper tantrums when pushed off the couch or told to leave it or told no . She does pretty good on leash. Owner never puts her on one so the week or two she is here she needs reminders. The male however is a different story. He is aggressive. To both my dogs and has attacked the female before over anything, a stone he is playing with a stick, food, toys, collars, bags, anything he has considered " his" He has bitten his owner, as well as attacked my dogs. He attacked a dog through the car window once. He wears a muzzel and drag leash when he is with my dogs, and always 120 % supervised. i own all males, so he is EXRTREAMLY aggressive then. He goes in a crate if i cant watch him. However, to GET HIM IN the crate is hell.If you touch his collar and out even a little bit of pressue he will throw himself all over, growling and trying to bite you through the muzzel. I put a leash on him, and he will throw himself all over, attack my hands, arms, the leash, he has jumped in the air and landed hard. His hackles go up. and his tail goes up and rigid. If you need to take his empty food bowl away he will attack you. He lays over top of it for hours. He will pee on you. He gaurds the fridge, cupboard where there are dog cookies ANYTHING. Help? The owner asked me to train him to be good, but she said he " wasnt that bad" just has some guarding issues. Tip please

Labradors! 1 or 2? same litter or different ages?
im getting labradors and was wondering should i get 1 or 2?i dont want them to fight. i want them to be controllable and playful and affectionate, but not more so than the other so they are in spite of each other... make sense? well i would like a boy and a girl, both being 'done' so i dont have pups should i get them from the same litter?i want a boy and girl, both being 'done', but i dont no if they will be happier as brother and sister together, or whether that will cause trouble and ignore me as the owner, maybe its best to get 1 from 1 litter and another from another litter.... but if i did that, training both together isnt an issue for me really but i dont want too much of an age gap, but i dont want them to get jealous of each other and 'fight' or dislike each other even tho they will be puppies and should get on if brought up from the same age is this making sense?so in conclusion 1 should i get 1 or 2?2 from the same litter or not?3 if not, how long after i have brought the 1st one should i buy the 2nd one as i want them to get one, but not have years between them? i want them to learn from one another, and obviously myself please answer all 3 if 2 is a 'different litters best' answer' , thanks x

First time owner (C.K.C.Spaniel/Daschund/Labrador)...?
OK, first things first yes, I've done my research I first wanted a beagle because of its intelligence and goofy ways, but the more I researched the more I wasn't as keen on adopting one because I would prefer a dog that didn't howl when it found something or be too risky to be off its lead leash. I know, obviously, if I got a beagle it may not turn out like what I've read, but then I got into thinking about a Caliver King Charles Spaniel, a daschund and a labrador narrowing down the pros and cons. These three breeds seem perfect and the health problems aren't putting me down because many of friends have labradors and my parents had a couple of daschunds them selves living in Africa too Here's a mouthful hard to swallow C.K.C.Spaniels Pros for me personally Adorable Amazing for the family, loyal, intelligent, VERY active and I'd love a dog to have a lot of hyper times with, as I'm quite a hyper person and that I'm also 15, so I'd like to get distracted from Facebook and The Sims 3 and also said to be adjustable with cats I have one cat who's turning 2 this year .Cons again, personally Grooming seems to be a bit of a handful especially if I am going to be handling a dog for the first time my parents not a problem, as one of my dad's dogs had around 4 litters in Africa And my mum and dad had around 4 7 dogs any way Daschund shot haired Pros Extremely adorable hey, dont we all want something to coo at once in a while? , quite active dogs and also, I suppose, easier to groom oh, I've heard they can be quite fast little things, but then I've heard they need at least half of the average exercise of an average medium sized dog.Cons I suppose I would like a dog to be able to run with and not get tired out as quickly and I've read that they're a bit like beagles and can get lost in their own worlds, as they were trained for sniffing out other animals.Labrador Pros the right size, friendly, easy to train, great for running with or letting off the lead leash and a reliable dog and also easy to groom.Cons I dont think I have any LOL > < Wow I bet you're bored out of your mind after reading that > < I'm quite a picky person as you can see, but I'll buy either of the breeds as a puppy shelter, dont worry . So the big question Which of those three dogs are best for a first time owner me, mostly like I said before, my parents have experienced dog days and will obviously guide me to look after the dog ?Thank you sooooooooooo much DP.S. Need additional commentry? Just say so > < P.P.S Like I said before, I'm a very active, hyper person and would love to run around. My cat, of course, can be hyper but also tends to show off his claws . Which isnt the best thing...
