What is your dream horse tack? one peice or whole set, mines a little crazy?
I dream of owning a bonafide california rose parade saddle set. You know.... the ones on the gleaming palominos with lots of dangling leather and tons of silver. wow talk about gorgeous. I would want a set with breast strap and breaching and a black and white blanket and matching bridle and reins. the more silver the better, but wow are they expensive I live in rural kentucky and I cant imagine where I would actually ride my horse in this set but i bet every head would turn where ever i rode. So tell me about your dream saddle or other tack and why you would want it, or where you would use it.

alright. I might be getting a Dark Bay gelding that has 1 white soc on his left hind leg. 1. what kind of curry comb should I get? I mean, i use a rubber one on lesson horses that has the teeth kinda close together. But at the tack shop, I see ones with these huge, like, cilinder like things???2. How could I tell the difference between a soft brush and a dandy brush?3. is there a special saddle blanket I am suppose to get? These was this thick one that you use on older horses, so should I not get that one? he is 7 what kind for all purpose jumping?4. Is a synthetic saddle ok??5. is there a special kind of lunge whip?6. what else do I need? I am using my halter as a bridle, I have a lead, reins, crop, lunge line And what is a price range for vets? check ups, vaccinations, worming, cleaning the sheath And how many times a year should i gelding have his sheath cleaned??THANSK I will addd more
Cleaning horse tack. Need some help!?
I am going to a show this weekend but i need some help. 1st, i have a charles owens but it's really dirty. Ive tried water, tack soap, and the vacuum. But its still really dirty. Anything else i can try i really don't like the idea of the dishwasher . 2nd, there is a big, deep, scratch in the back of my saddle. No not like running a belt along your saddle and using tack cleaner to get it out, but like someone pretended it was butter and took a knife to it, any tips of how to make it look better, its a collegiate. 3rd, my tall boots are too big and i don't wanna get new ones. any ideas on how i can make them fit my leg better they are too wide . Thnxs Please answer

Where can I buy horse tack in fun colors?
i've decided my horse's color is going to be lime green, for both english, western, and at home. i'm looking for the following items though i probably won't buy them all at once and the ones with stars are the most important ones dress sheet quilted all purpose english pad fleece english pad maybe western pad polo wraps nylon halter & matching lead bell boots standing wraps i already tried wildhorsecolors.com, but they don't have everything i want and the prices are a little ridiculous compared to state line tack. but state line tack doesn't have very many lime green products it would be nice to buy everything in one place so i don't have to pay a crap load of shipping.so yeah, where can i get colorful horse gear that is good, and also cheap?? thanks D

Here's a horse tack question?
Is there a type of tack that helps a horse keep its head UP?Is that was a martingale is? Or does that keep the horse's head from getting too high?I want something to keep his head up, because I just started running with him and I don't want him to buck me off.
