my boyfriend and i adopted two 1 year old Black german shepherd sisters. my boyfriend has 7 small mix breed dogs and both shepherd go after and attack the little dogs. we have had to take one of the little dogs to the vet twice b c my bf's shepherd got out of her muzzle and tried to kill her. so we NEED help with our 2 dogs, they need to be separated from the rest of the dogs, the two shepherds also get into fights with each other if they are both outside with each other with out their muzzles on, i mean bad fights where they try to kill each other and it's very hard to break them apart each other. i've been doing obedience training my shepherd and it's seemed to work a little bit. i don't want to give up my dog i've grown so attached to her, but i will be forced to if i can't train her to leave the little dogs alone. Please helpMy boyfriend and I adopted 2 one year old female german shepherd sisters about 8 months ago and ever since they have had to be separated from our 7 small dogs because they attack the little ones. we bought two wire basket muzzles for the shepherds and let them outside with the rest of the little dogs but it hasen't worked so far, they attack the little dogs with the muzzles on. We also kennel the two shepherds at night in the bedroom and the little dogs sleep in the same room also. We have had to take one of our small dogs to the vet twice to get stiched up. the two sisters also fight eachother as well but i heard that is expected with female litter mates. we will have to rehome the two females if they can't get along.
