Beagle puppy training tips?
Can anyone please help.... my Beagle 4 month old Puppy is constantly biting .. he tries to bite the hands and if you tell him no he then gets mad and goes for your legs. He can be really mean when he wants to be.... if you try and tell him off or take him in a room on his own... he goes mental and bites even more and barks. I just don't know how to get him out of this habit. PLEASE HELP Many Thanks

hi everyone. i bought a husky puppy today, he will be 9 weeks tomorrow. can someone give me some really good starter training tips so i can set things right from the get go? SO far I have noticed he doesnt like being alone for 30 seconds so he starts to whine. I don't want him to get used to the fact that everytime he whines, we're going to come running. I want to show him that I am the one in control. We don't have a crate yet but will be getting one in the next few days.. he loves to chew on bones and I want to keep it that way so he doesnt chew on household things. so with that being said, can anyone who owns a husky give me some good starter tips? thanks

i'm so excited...my puppy has learned how to SIT almost all my family members can get her to SIT before we pet her, praise her or feed her. now, i'm looking forward to further train her. i've found some training information on the web simply google it up on the net, and plenty will pop up , but i'm just curious to know if anyone here has any information to share? what else should i train my puppy on? how should i do it?p s i'm currently trying to get my mom to help me train my pup coz my mom's retired and i figured with all the time on her hands, this will be good for her and the pup on how to 1. give paw2. heel3. stay4. and to toilet train correctlymaybe my mom might teach my pup how to roll over and play dead too p

I have a 10 week old GoldenDoodle named Eilidh AYlee . She's very sweet and I recently had to put a dog down for aggression. I don't want to make any mistakes this time. I have a dog training book Dog Training Made Easy but I would like to know of any other tips to train her the right way. We have been very careful not to smack her when she's " naughty" and we just yell " NO" in a harsh voice. She's still not potty trained but we've only had her two weeks and she goes outside most of the time. When she does go inside, I know it's because WE aren't paying attention. I guess what I'm asking is the proper way to punish her when she's eating my rug, or a shoe, or one of the kids toys. Right now we just say " NO" and give her one of her " Good girl toys." . Any ideas?Also, I was told by my vet that she shouldn't go to puppy training classes until she is 15 weeks, after all of her shots. Will that be too late?

Hi, we have recently got a new puppy, he is a Patterdale x Jack Russell. We got him at 13 weeks old, his previous owner had little kids and he is way to lively around them. We have had him for about 2 weeks now and they weren't wrong, he is VERY lively, and naughty which i guess most puppies are. Anyway he is teething at the moment and has plenty of toys to help etc but he still bites and chews at people arms and feet and no matter what we try water, firm voice, ignoring him nothing works and it you skirt him with water he will just bite even more. Is there a way to train him out of biting and chewing people even if he is teething?He's 15 weeks now and very good with being house trained, he is a fast little learner and mostly going outside now, but with the odd accidents hear and there but he is still only a baby.We have a few cats, which dont seem to mind him much and do stand their ground but he barks at them which doesn't help, is there a way of getting him out of that, or will he just grow out of these habits and its just me wanting him to be a good dog to soon lol. I no puppies are a lot of work, but he is a good boy and is learning quick, just be helpful if there were a few tips, especially on the biting and chewing last time i posted a question i didn't get very nice remarks, please only comment if you can help or have tips and hold of any criticism we all know we have our work cut out with a puppy but the whole family is willing to help, thanks

We recently rescued one and he's now about 7 weeks old.Training has been going well so far, but we are trying to prevent him from becoming aggressive due to the natural traits of both parents, but all the websites I've come across only list the traits of aggression and nothing on prevention and training.So if anyone can give me any tips on training and if you've had any previous experience with dog training, if you would please help.The dog is intelligent and well behaved, but we're just trying to take precaution and socialize the puppy so that he won't be aggressive towards strangers in the future things like biting, barking, growling that might create issues with strangers when we're out in public.
