Petco puppy training classes, are they worth it?
I was just wondering if your puppy actually learned anything from these classes? What did they learn, like what commands? And what was the cost of the classes? I'm getting a schnoodle puppy in April and I'm just wondering if I should pay for the classes or try o teach the puppy myself.

Getting a puppy, is this too soon to start puppy training classes?
We are getting our puppy on Sept. 6, she will be a little over 9 weeks old.We found a place that offers puppy socialization and training classes that start Sept. 13. Would we be starting the classes too soon after getting her? We will have only had her for a week. I am probably going to enroll my 4 month old puppy into the first class I think it teaches how to sit and stay . I may go onto higher levels after that also. What are they like? Are they ran smoothly? Were you satisfied? Was the cost worth it?

I have a 2 month old pitbull right now and I want to go take him in for obedience classes. I want to know how it works and how much it regularly cost. mainly I need some advice that you guys can give me so i know what i would be getting my dog into. personal experience stories would be good. I've also heard that if you get the male neuterd that it would help with territorial problems and the need of having a female around. should i get my male pitbull neuterd? And i want him to learn that cool trick where the dog opens the fridge?

Should I skip the puppy training classes?
I asked this already but didn't get many answers. Ok so now I'm considering training my puppy myself. I've been looking at some really cool websites specifically clickertraining.com and clickerlessons.com that seem to be very detailed and informative and filled with training tips. So, my question is, would I be missing out on anything if I decide to take this training upon myself...or should I just pay the money and let a professional do it?I've taught her how to sit, stay, and jump already so I guess I feel capable to do it myself...but wondering how many of you have experience with both professional training and self training.

I am wanting to train my puppy at home since I dont have a steady schedual and cant commit to the same night every week for training and I was wondering what the puppy classes train there. Would anybody recommend puppy training classes? My vets runs a 6 week course for vaccinated puppies, the class size is 6 puppies. What are people's experiences of puppy classes? And what would be a reasonable price to pay for these?Thank you in advance for your responses.Just to clarify, these are group classes with other puppies and owners not individual training sessionsJust to add also that I have already started training her sit, fetch, stay, toilet training etc.
