Reconised Certificate australia in Pet Obedience trainning?
I found pet obedience trainning, grooming cource, but It isn't national reconised trainning or a numbered certificate, and I would prefer either cerificate 2 or national reconised in australia wide, prefer distance education or online course I want to become a Pet Obedience Trainner and Groomer and run my own business I am australia Prefer distance education or off campus courses in South East Victoria
What characteristics should I be looking at when getting a puppy for a pet, obedience, and agility?
They are Shelties so they are naturally smart and usually naturally excel at obedience and agility. I have 2 adults at home. The female is incredible at obedience and agility but the male is just getting started at a year and a half. I was afraid he was just a bit too weary of new things new people, places, dogs, and objects but that can also be a breed characteristic. He is very smart as well and does lots of commands perfectly at home but gets scared like I said, at new places. Now, I picked these puppies both on looks. I wanted even markings, full collars, proportianate, and pups that looked like they'd be within the size standards. THIS TIME I WANT TO PICK A PUP BASED MORE ON PERSONALITY I've seen them already they are 2 and a half weeks. One of them already caught my eye he gurred at me and actually barked I've never seen a pup that young bark but was soon licking my hand. Are there characteristics I should look for at 7 8 when the pups are ready for new homes?Oh, the pup I liked was a female I should say. I've always liked female Shelties are better but for competition, there really is no difference in learning ability and how well they'd excel, right?
