Sweetie, your parents were just looking for an excuse to get rid of that dog. Even if you wanted to housetrain your dog, you need the support of your parents to be successful. A trainer teaches you how to train your dog, they don't do it for you. Training takes commitment and it appears your parents don't have any to this dog. You can try printing this and showing it to them, but I wouldn't count on it. Please discourage them from getting another pet in the future as the same thing will happen to that dog as well. It's not fair to the dog or to you. https:/ / pawsandlearn.org/ Crate_Training.html Try printing this one for them as well. They REALLY need to read this: https:/ / pawsandlearn.org/ Why_Training_Important.html I'm very sorry you and your dog both have to go through this. It's sad that you have more empathy than they do. At least you know that dogs take training so when you get older and move out, you can do it the right way (and show them how it's done).

I think it is awful that your parents would rather kill a dog than train it. Disgusting. Don't grow up like them..... There are plenty of trainers out there who would have helped. There is plenty of info on the Internet for FREE that could have helped.Your parents should be ashamed of themselves. perfectpaws.com/ crt.html dogstardaily.com/ training/ errorless-housetraining

You can't expect results instantly, you have to be consistent. The dog trainers can SHOW you how to do it, everyone has a different method though. You're the ones that have him so you'd have to do what they show you. I personally like the crate training method, you can google info on it.

Professional trainers will guide you on how to potty train a dog, but the hard work is up to you. try a google search for dog trainers in your area. Good luck. I hope you get your puppy back. And if you do, step it up and show your parents that you are ready to for this puppy. Teach it tricks they couldn't! They'll be impressed :-D

Please don't ask or beg for another dog. Wait until you are an adult and on your own. I know that there is nothing that you can do right now since you live with your parents. However you can learn about dogs by not owning one. You can volunteer at your shelter, work for a vet, learn to train and groom by helping others, and several other things. Enjoy your friend's dogs. I'm sorry that your parents are too immature to own a dog at this time.

They will show you how to properly potty train a dog. I think it is horrible that you parents got rid of the dog for that reason, maybe it is better you don't have a dog, they are obviously too irresponsible to have one.
