I would like to get my puppy into agility training how do i go about this?
I live in NSW Aus do i have to train her through a Professional organisation or myself? Where do i go to practice etc?She is only 8 weeks old and i mean in the future i am aware that they need to be 12months to enter im just curious and wanting to get information now so i am well educated its prob to early to be getting information, but im an organised person and i like knowing as much as i can

I own a shih tzu, and would like to train her to do agility, she is about a year old, and I would like to know where I can find or make some appropriately sized equipment tunnels, weave poles, etc etc ... also I've never done agility but have seen it on tv ...what exactly do I need to get started on training and how? Also she is rather small for a shih tzu nine pounds and please no comments on how small she is and how that is the wrong size for a shih tzu and bla bla bla....

My dog is four and a half is it too late to try agility training?
I don't want to compete I just think she would like it.

I'm wanting to start my puppy, Dixie, with some pre agility training. I live in Dallas and I've seen some facilities online in the Dallas area that I'm considering. I have a terrier mix. He needless to say has a ton of energy and is smart. I just found a dog park that is 20 minutes from us closest I could find . It even has an agility course. I have been interested in challenging my Hoppy with agility training for quite a while and now with the park I would love to know how I would do that by myself. I have a huge yard and would like to start training my new dog getting it soon agility. I'm planning on getting an energetic breed so it should be okay. I'd just like to see if I can teach at home instead of going to agility classes as there isn't any near us. Any tips what can I use or buy?

i just adopted a 2 year old border collie and want to keep her active and happy so my sister who's a vet suggested agility training. i'm going to enroll her in a regular training class at petco but after that i think agility training would be a lot of fun for the both of us. how do i get into this? where can i find one of those obstacle courses? i'm really in the dark here lol

Benefit of agility training?
I just took my 9 month old dog to the dog park next door that we go to 3x day , and there was a fundraiser going on where a company had set up an agility course. My dog loved it and did all the exercises without any direction. Just ran up to the exercises and did them, jumped through hoops, went through tunnels, etc etc. Other people were trying to get their dogs to do the stuff but the dogs didn't care. Should I pursue this with him? I have no interest in competing, and do not have the time in my busy schedule for that. But what is the benefit to my dog if we start to do agility training regularly?And what is the average cost? Question about different dog leashes for agility training?
I am taking my year old Australian Shepherd female dog to agility training and I have a pull tab for her and i noticed someone has this leash that has a handle on it but it is very short about probably 6 inches to a foot and is black and adjustable and is just like you can drop it when doing stuff so the leash does not get tangled any idea what i am talking about anyone and where i could look for similar tings?

my border collies going into agility training monday and he's going to go to classes once a week.
