How much should a 6 week old bulldog eat?
We just purchased a bulldog puppy Monday. The bag of Blue Buffalo says to feed a 3 22lb puppy up to 3 months 1 4 1 cup of food a day, and the breeder said to split it up for about 4 feedings a day until about 5 6 months and then cut down to 3 feedings, then around a year, 2 times a day. So, my question... I've been giving him about 1 4 cup around 5 30 am, then another 1 4 a cup around 10 30, then again around 2 30, and again around 7 30, then a potty and we are in bed by 9pm. He always seems a little hungry after wards, but doesn't fuss at all. He just kinda licks his food bowl for about 20 30 seconds and then walks away. I was told to be careful about overfeeding and to measure his food since bulldogs are known for over eating and don't let him free feed. Is 1 4 a cup, 4 times daily enough? We didn't get scammed The people were hobby breeders, not actual breeders. Local from where I live, I saw the parents, visited several times, he was more than ready to go home. He weaned from nursing around 3 weeks old and had baby mush, and we were offered a warranty and a week check for a vet or 100 % refund. He has done fine away from him mom and took to our home immediately without one whimper over night at all. Each pup is different and is ready to leave mom at different ages. I've had dogs in the past. I was asking about how much to feed an English Bulldog, not asking whether you thought he was too young to leave him mom or not. How many cups per day should I feed him?
How to take care of a french bulldog?
I know they are good with family and they have some health issues. Also they are stubborn to train. I know some more things too but don't have the room to type it all. To french bulldogs owners everywhere what else am I missing. Any tips that you can give.P.S. I hear they have breathing problem and fart pass gas a lot.Thanks in advance.

I walked an American Bulldog at the shelter I volunteer at and she was very shy and quit and did not even want to go for a walk or leave her cage but she accepted dog treats.I said she would be a lousy guard dog and watch dog.She acted like she didn't care and did not even bark or jump.She was neither friendly or aggressive but just quit and shy.The people at the shelter told me that she had it rough and never had any contact except being tied up on a leash in the yard all dayand she does not like being outside butloves the inside.

Can a coyote kill a french bulldog?
I have two female french bulldogs, both weighing about 20 lbs. They are tough and stick together. We live in Illinois, outside Chicago. I've been seeing more and more coyotes lately, ranging in size all of them are much larger than my dogs. I'm worried to leave them outside alone. As I mentioned, they are tough always wanting to pick fights with any dog they see, regardless of the size... so even though they're small, they're pretty intimidating. Thank you in advance for your help it's hard to balance my dogs love for freedom and my concern for their safety

I really want an english bulldog puppy We have boston terriers and beagles but i think english bulldogs are like the cutest puppies My parents won't let me have one cuz they have short life spans and health problems, and cost alot of money. How long do they live normally, and are they good pets?And i don't think they are cute just as puppies They are one of the few dogs that are cute even when they grow up
