The name of the breeder I'm thinking of purchasing a dog from is Titans Pride American Bulldogs...they seem really nice and I love the look of their dogs. So I was wondering if anyone out there has purchased a dog from them? How was your experience with them and how are you enjoying your dog ie. any health problem or behavioral problems?

My brother is thinking in the relatively distant future, about getting an American Bulldog. I don't know anything about the breed, however this is the site he emailed to me. Firstly this is a Canadian website, therefor I'd expect to see CKC Canadian Kennel Club titles attached to their dogs. I don't see that so that concerns me a little bit.I know nothing about American Bulldogs, however I see they mentioned dog aggression specifically with their male. Is this a common thing for the breed, or is it more of a red flag? What does everybody think? How responsible of a breeder does she sound like? A list of the " good" things and " bad" things would be great, as I'd like to learn more about traits of a good breeder, specifically relating to this example.aesiramericanbulldogs.com index.htmAdd I'm not getting one of these dogs... my brother and I don't live together anymore, haha I've never seen one of these dogs in our shelters... and I look on a regular basis. Not saying it's bad to adopt, I'd love it if he got a dog from a shelter and he might still, he supports adoption too .A comment though, how smart is it to get a bully breed from a shelter, that already might be predisposed to aggression? Not knowing the history of such a dog might be a bit naive IMO.

Everyone says don't buy from internet ads, but that's all I can find. How do you find a true breeder??And please, it isn't possible to go to a shelter, I have rang three and they only have adults, I wouldn't trust a strange adult dog around my children.Any where in the UK, im from Wales but would travelHooch im all for adopting dogs, the dog mutt I have now is an adopted dog. she was 9 months when I had her.I am not trusting a strange adult dog around the kids in my house, yes the shelter might think they are kind but who knows what this dog is capable of? im not risking my 3 year old neice and 10 year old cousin that live with me.even if they are gentle it only takes that split second for the dog to snaphooch for crying out loud I am not going to a shelter, simple as that, so stop pushing it on me.
